My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Cybersecurity Engineer to join our Systems Support Team. In this role, you will protect the company by employing various technologies and processes to prevent, detect, and manage security threats. With responsibilities for securing both on-premise and Azure infrastructure, you'll play a key role in enhancing the overall IT security posture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor for attacks, intrusions, and unauthorized activity

- Investigate security alerts, manage incident response, and work with third-party solutions

- Evaluate and test security products and cloud-based solutions

- Develop and maintain security policies and best practices

- Conduct security audits, patch vulnerabilities, and monitor identity and access management

- Collaborate with stakeholders on security recommendations and communicate updates

Essential Skills & Experience:

- Strong IT skills across networks, operating systems, and security technologies (firewalls, intrusion prevention, anti-virus)

- Proven experience with O365 security solutions and secure score advancements

- Knowledge of network penetration testing, cloud technologies, and Active Directory

- Excellent communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical audiences

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Desirable Skills:

Experience with Entra, Azure, Tenable.io, FortiNet Firewalls, Rapid7, and scripting tools.
