A rapidly expanding service based group are now looking for a Finance Manager to join a small dedicated team, based in North Kent. Reporting to the MD you will oversea a team of 3 and be happy dealing with the every day finance as well as the more detailed management accounts work. Duties will include:-
Responsibilities of the Finance Manager Role:-
- Oversee the sales and purchase ledger, including month end reconciliations
- Liaising with suppliers to discuss payment terms
- Chasing overdue invoices and weekly aged debtor analysis
- Full monthly management accounts
- Profit and loss, accruals and prepayments
- Detailed cashflow analysis and making the MD aware of any potential debts
- Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare and review budgets keeping a tight control of cost
Requirements of the Finance Manager Role:-
- Qualified by experience or an active studier
- SME background
- Hands on, posting journals and reconciling accounts
- Excellent communication skills
- First rate systems skills especially Excel
- This role is office based 5 days a week
