The role - Behaviour Mentor

I am working with a SEMH school based in Bromley that are looking to appoint a new Behaviour Mentor to join their team! In this role you will be working with KS2 & KS3 students with challenging behaviour. As a Behaviour Mentor you will be working 1:1 and in small groups with the students and must be an approachable, confident and efficient person. To be considered for this role you must have experience working with SEMH and challenging behaviour in a school setting. You will need to use de - escalation techniques and work closely with other behaviour mentors.

The school - SEMH

This SEMH school is based in Bromley and caters for students aged 11 - 16 years old. The school’s focus is on developing core skills of literacy and numeracy, whilst offering a broad range of other curriculum areas to provide real interest for their pupils. They have been awarded an overall effectiveness grade of Good with Leadership and Management being graded as Outstanding by Ofsted. The school has great transport links, and many local bus routes.
