A personable engineering practice specializing in core construction sectors is seeking a CDM Consultant to oversee a new project portfolio, primarily located in London and south of London. This medium-sized firm is renowned for its hands-on, safety centred approach. They foster a collaborative and friendly work culture, promoting open communication across all teams. This role will be autonomous once you have settled in and they do not require you in office any more then you see fit.

The CDM Consultant Role

As the CDM Advisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and providing guidance on design safety risks across the portfolio of projects in the pre-construction phase. You will be supported by a team of CDM Advisors and Architects in this role.

The CDM Consultant Will Have:

  • NEBOSH Construction (required)
  • Tech IOSH (minimum)
  • APS membership (required)
  • Design degree: Architecture / Civil Engineering / Engineering / Surveying (preferred)
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a CDM role (required)
  • Skills: Strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a team.
