Join the outstanding team at Bromley Children’s Social Care, recently rated "outstanding" by Ofsted. We are seeking highly talented and ambitious registered Social Workers to join our Referral and Assessment Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of children and families in the Borough.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work within the Referral and Assessment Service, handling new referrals from the Bromley MASH.
  • Undertake Child and Family assessments to determine the best ways to meet children’s needs.
  • Be part of a team that goes on duty for one week every six weeks, during which you will receive new allocations.
  • Manage an average caseload of 8 families, allowing for thorough and impactful social work interventions.
  • Engage in a relationship-based practice framework, focusing on forming positive relationships with families and professionals to facilitate beneficial changes for children and young people.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Registered Social Worker with a passion for working with children and their families.
  • Ability to form effective relationships and drive positive changes.
  • Motivated and positive attitude towards managing caseloads effectively.
  • Experience in child and family assessments is highly advantageous.
