Tradewind is looking to recruit Exam Invigilators for the upcoming mock GCSE and A-Level exams in the borough of Bromley, which offers excellent transportation links.

The typical working hours will vary between 3 to 7 hours per day, with morning and/or afternoon shifts. Flexibility is essential to ensure the smooth invigilation of exams throughout May and June 2024. Once the exams are completed, we offer the opportunity to enroll in one of our CPD courses, which can help you pursue further employment as support staff, such as a Teaching Assistant.

As an Exam Invigilator, your responsibilities will include supervising GCSE and A-Level exams to ensure that students are supported and that both the students and the school comply with the JCQ regulations. You may also be required to start and finish exams during the main exam periods.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring all exam procedures are followed correctly
  • Setting up the exam room and collecting equipment and exam papers at the end of the exam
  • Ensuring students are not talking or conferring
  • Preventing cheating and ensuring academic integrity
  • Ensuring students have enough paper and stationery
  • Assisting students who may need to leave the exam due to illness
  • Overseeing the start and finish of the exams
  • Collecting and distributing exam papers
