Our client, a small family-run business specializing in Fire Safety Management, is looking for an experienced Fire Door Carpenter with some fire stopping experience (preferred but not essential). They provide a range of services, from Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) to passive fire protection solutions.
The Role:
- Primarily working on fire door carpentry and joinery (80%), with some passive fire stopping work (20%).
- Work takes place predominantly in communal areas of domestic blocks of flats.
- Travel within the M25 boundary, with occasional trips to Suffolk and surrounding areas.
Requirements:
- NVQ qualification in Carpentry or Fire Door Installation.
- Experience in fire door installation, maintenance, and compliance.
- Some knowledge of passive fire stopping (training provided if needed).
- Must be able to pass a Clear Enhanced DBS check (arranged by the client).
- Full UK driving license (preferred).
