TITLESenior Philanthropy Manager  INTRODUCTIONOur client has a rich history of success and innovation and is a leading light in the UK not-for-profit sector.  As a result of consistent growth and development they now require an experienced senior Fundraising Manager to join their experienced team.  LOCATIONSouth London (Hybrid role – 50/50 per week based at the office and from home)  THE JOB ROLEThe Senior Philanthropy Manager role is a key part of our client’s fundraising team, delivering income to support both vital existing community services and the development of new initiatives.  The role involves:
  • Leading, guiding and developing 3 colleagues in the fundraising team.
  • Partnering with the Head of Fundraising to create and execute our client’s annual fundraising strategy.
  • Responsibility for growing income from a vast existing network of high value donors, supporters and partners.
  • And responsibility for delivering income from new high value donors and supporters.
  • Developing fresh messaging and engagement approaches to reposition our client’s brand and value in the community.
THE PERSON NEEDEDFor this key Senior Philanthropy Manager role, our client is looking for:
  • Team leadership experience.
  • Strong experience in a senior fundraising role in the not-for-profit or charity sector.
  • Prior demonstrable experience securing high value donations, either from individuals or corporates.
  • Empathy, professionalism and a positive team ethos.
