Your Role in the Referral and Assessment Service:
-
Work within a small cluster team of five Social Workers/Senior Practitioners and one Team Manager
-
Benefit from a dedicated two-week induction programme to support your transition
-
Manageable caseloads (average of 8 families) allowing you to focus on quality practice

Participate in reflective supervision with protected time for high-quality case discussions

Provide effective interventions to support children and families

Work in partnership with key agencies to deliver exceptional outcomes for children
What We Need From You:

Qualified Social Worker - Registered with Social Work England (or eligible to register)

Post-Qualification Experience - In children and families social work within statutory, voluntary, or independent settings

Strong Understanding of Legislation & Best Practice - Ensuring high-quality interventions

Excellent Communication & Relationship-Building Skills - To work effectively with children, families, and professionals

Commitment to Excellence & Continuous Improvement - Aligning with Bromley’s vision for outstanding social care

Enhanced DBS Check - Required for the role
