Your Role in the Referral and Assessment Service:

  • Work within a small cluster team of five Social Workers/Senior Practitioners and one Team Manager

  • Benefit from a dedicated two-week induction programme to support your transition

  • Manageable caseloads (average of 8 families) allowing you to focus on quality practice

  • Participate in reflective supervision with protected time for high-quality case discussions

  • Provide effective interventions to support children and families

  • Work in partnership with key agencies to deliver exceptional outcomes for children

What We Need From You:

  • Qualified Social Worker - Registered with Social Work England (or eligible to register)

  • Post-Qualification Experience - In children and families social work within statutory, voluntary, or independent settings

  • Strong Understanding of Legislation & Best Practice - Ensuring high-quality interventions

  • Excellent Communication & Relationship-Building Skills - To work effectively with children, families, and professionals

  • Commitment to Excellence & Continuous Improvement - Aligning with Bromley’s vision for outstanding social care

  • Enhanced DBS Check - Required for the role
