The Role:
Our client is seeking an Attendance, Assessment & Achievement Administrator to play a vital role in supporting young learners (ages 14-16) in their educational and personal development. This role will work closely with teaching and curriculum teams to ensure students are fully engaged, achieving their targets, and accessing all available support services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide learning support to help students reach their academic goals (Level 2)
- Demonstrate an understanding of Progress 8 and Achievement 8 measures
- Assist in the educational and social development of learners, fostering independent learning skills
- Identify and address barriers to learning, developing tailored intervention strategies
- Facilitate students' full participation in college life and ensure access to support services
- Support teachers with lesson planning, resource preparation, and classroom activities
- Supervise students during break and lunch times to ensure safeguarding protocols are met
- Work collaboratively with external agencies, parents, and key workers to enhance student support
- Maintain accurate student records and contribute to assessment and progress tracking
About You:
Our client is looking for a dedicated individual with a strong passion for supporting young learners. The ideal candidate will have:
- A good standard of education (GCSE English & Maths A*-C or equivalent)
- Experience working within an education or training setting (paid or voluntary)
- An understanding of challenges faced by learners with disabilities or additional needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Good IT skills and the ability to use assistive technologies
- A proactive and organised approach, with the ability to work independently
Desirable:
- A Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
- Knowledge of safeguarding, risk assessment, and inclusion policies
