Location: Bromley
Position: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: £90 to £95 per day

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic ASD Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bromley. This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting as soon as possible.
As an ASD Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, helping them to engage with the curriculum, develop social skills, and navigate daily school activities. Your role will involve providing one-on-one support, assisting with classroom activities, and helping to create an environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support children with ASD in the classroom and during school activities
- Help implement individual learning plans tailored to each child's needs
- Assist with managing behaviour and promoting positive social interactions
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to create an inclusive learning environment
- Encourage children’s independence and support their emotional and social development
- Provide feedback on students’ progress to teachers and parents as required
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children with ASD, either in a school or care setting (desirable but not essential)
- A compassionate, patient, and understanding approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and staff
- A desire to help children reach their full potential
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Teaching Assistant qualification, SEN experience) are a plus, but not essential
