We are working with a great post 16 education establishment who are seeking an ongoing teacher to support until Christmas.

Day-to-day of the role of the Performing Arts Lecturer :
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive Performing Arts lessons to students with varying degrees of SEND needs.
  • Manage and oversee a small performing arts programme, guiding learners towards broader college pathways and employment within the performing arts field.
  • Conduct EHCP annual reviews and consultations with local authorities, or demonstrate a willingness to develop these skills.
  • Utilise strong organisational and IT skills to maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and foster a supportive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Performing Arts :
  • Full teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in the Performing Arts industry.
  • Proven experience in supporting learners with SEND.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills.
  • DBS on the update service or to be prepared to apply for a new one
