Bromley Beacon Academy (BBA) is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join our team, providing specialist education for children with Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Day to Day of the role:
  • Delivering engaging science lessons to students with SEMH needs across various key stages.
  • Developing core skills in literacy and numeracy while offering a broad curriculum to spark student interest.
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that caters to individual student needs.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and improve educational outcomes.
  • Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching science.
  • Understanding of the educational needs of students with SEMH.

  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in spoken English as per the Code of Practice on English language requirement for public sector workers.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
