Join our dynamic Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) team at the Bromley Campus as a Performing Arts Lecturer. This role offers a unique opportunity to empower learners with varying SEND needs through a diverse programme of study in the performing arts.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and inclusive performing arts lessons to students with varying degrees of SEND needs.
  • Manage and develop a small performing arts programme, guiding learners towards broader college pathways and potential employment within the performing arts field.
  • Conduct EHCP annual reviews and consultations with local authorities, or demonstrate a willingness to develop these skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and support provided to our students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Full teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in the Performing Arts industry.
  • Proven experience in supporting learners with SEND.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students and colleagues.
  • Strong organisational and IT skills, coupled with sound administration abilities.
  • Experience with EHCP annual reviews and consultations with local authorities is advantageous, or a willingness to learn these processes.
