Work as a Supply Teaching Assistant in Bromley (Primary)

Our wonderful partner school is seeking dedicated Temporary Teaching Assistants, Greater London. The ideal candidates will assist the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education and support to students. This role involves helping with lesson preparation, managing classroom activities, and providing one-on-one assistance to students as needed.

Bromley is a town in southeast London, located in the London Borough of Bromley. Known for its blend of urban and suburban features.  It’s well-connected by train and bus, making it a convenient spot for those commuting into central London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in lesson planning and preparation.
  • Support students individually or in small groups to enhance their learning experience.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on students’ progress and challenges.
  • Supervise students during breaks and extracurricular activities.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school staff.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.
