Head of People and Wellbeing

Your experience working as Head of HR/HR Manager, is highly sought after by our client. They are looking for someone to join their Management Team as the Head of People and Wellbeing, where you'll work closely with the Managing Partner and the Board to shape the future of the Firm. They are looking for a dynamic HR professional who combines hands-on experience with strategic vision and commercial acumen.

As a people-focused Firm, their People Strategy underpins their values and culture, driving them to exceed their business objectives. You'll be CIPD qualified with experience in developing HR strategy and leading a small team. Legal experience is a plus but is not essential. They are more than happy to meet with candidates from professional services. A proactive attitude and willingness to engage in the day-to-day HR operations are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee HR operations and direction.
  • Advise and support key stakeholders.
  • Enhance HR value through strategic initiatives.
  • Manage all HR functions including compensation, payroll, training, employee relations, and recruitment.
  • Lead firm-wide projects on job design, reorganization, and working environments.
  • Champion and lead change initiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in people processes and policies.
  • Manage employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding.
  • Produce and present Board reports.
  • Handle employee relations and conflict management.
  • Oversee performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Develop competitive compensation and benefits plans.
  • Manage the firm's HRIS and ensure effective employee branding.

Employee relations will be a big part of this role. You will handle complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to ensure positive outcomes and a cohesive work environment.
