Night Auditor (part-time, up to 27 hours a week) required for a hotel located in the Bromley area.

As Night Auditor, you will already have previous hotel night receptionist or night auditor experience or similar day time hotel receptionist experience. You will contribute to creating an exceptional experience for guests whilst ensuring the operational integrity of this hotel during the night hours.

Job Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Night Auditor to join this team in providing exceptional service to hotel guests during the night shift. The Night Auditor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during overnight hours, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, and performing essential accounting tasks. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong communication skills and a passion for hospitality.

Responsibilities of the role of Night Auditor:

  • Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all accounts.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs, providing excellent customer service throughout the process.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the night shift.
  • Prepare and distribute daily reports summarising hotel occupancy, revenue, and other key metrics.
  • Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organised and welcoming for guests.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations during overnight hours.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Cover Night manager on his days off

Skills:

  • Strong background in hospitality with experience in hotel operations preferred.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to cater to diverse guests.
  • Proven ability to provide outstanding guest services, creating memorable experiences for visitors.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining focus on responsibilities.

The salary for Hotel Night Auditor is given as £13.00 to £14.50/hour. TRANSPORT is desirable should you not require live in due to the shifts and location or on a bus route. Additional company benefits available. This hotel can offer full-time hours if this is sought, working a joint role of night auditor / late receptionist. Live in is available for the full-time role (5 shifts a week) in shared staff accommodation.
