The London Borough of Bromley is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist for a 4-month minimum contract starting ASAP in South East London.
The role involves conducting assessments for clients in their homes, focusing on equipment and minor adaptations to enhance independence.
Candidates are expected to have experience in moving and handling assessments, as well as collaborating on hospital discharge processes.
The position requires a full-time commitment of 37.5 hours per week, with a shift pattern of Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 17:00, including 3 days of remote work.
The salary for this role is competitive, and candidates should have relevant experience in occupational therapy.

Location: South East London

Start date: ASAP

End date: 4 month minimum contract

Job description:

The Occupational Therapy Team at London Borough of Bromley are seeking an enthusiastic and talented person to join our team.

The role will involve:

Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.
Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.
Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.
Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.
Assessing for and providing major adaptations.
