Connect2SocialWork are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist for the Bromley Occupational Therapy Team to cover the winter period until March 31st 2025.

Hourly Rate: Up to £36ph (depending on experience)

Flexible Working:

The Occupational Therapist will be expected to complete community visits to clients. The current hybrid arrangement is 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.

Expenses:

You will be able to claim back mileage from your place of work to visits (this does not include travel from home to work).

About the Role and Team:

The Occupational Therapy Team are seeking an enthusiastic and talented person to join the team. The role will involve:

  • Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.
  • Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.
  • Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.
  • Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.
  • Assessing for and providing major adaptations.

Current registration with HCPC is essential.
