Senior Occupational Therapist, £36ph, Adult ServicesPertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join Bromley’s OT team. The postholder will be responsible for promoting and maintaining independence for vulnerable and disabled service users.Main responsibilities:
  • Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.
  • Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.
  • Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.
  • Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.
  • Assessing for and providing major adaptations.
Flexible Working: Occupational Therapists will be expected to complete community visits to clients. The current hybrid arrangement is 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.Requirements:
  • Occupational Therapy Diploma /Degree.
  • State registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with working with people with physical disabilities and assessing service users functional abilities
