Pertemps is seeking a qualified Senior Occupational Therapist for Bromley’s OT team, offering a salary of £36 per hour.
The role involves conducting assessments for disabled service users to promote their independence, including home visits and evaluations for necessary equipment.
Candidates must hold an Occupational Therapy Diploma/Degree and be registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).
Experience in working with individuals with physical disabilities and assessing their functional abilities is required.
The position offers flexible working arrangements, with a hybrid model of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.

Senior Occupational Therapist, £36ph, Adult ServicesPertemps are recruiting for a qualified and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join Bromley’s OT team. The postholder will be responsible for promoting and maintaining independence for vulnerable and disabled service users.Main responsibilities:

Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.
Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.
Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.
Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.
Assessing for and providing major adaptations.

Flexible Working: Occupational Therapists will be expected to complete community visits to clients. The current hybrid arrangement is 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home.Requirements:

Occupational Therapy Diploma /Degree.
State registration with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Experience working with working with people with physical disabilities and assessing service users functional abilities
