Our Local Authority client in Bromley are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to support their adult services for a locum contract initially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out occupational therapy assessments vulnerable and disables service users in thir own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.
  • Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.
  • Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.
  • Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.

Requirements:

  • Be a qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the HCPC.
  • Experience of working with people with physical disabilities.
  • Experience of providing non-specialist equipment and a wide range of major adaptations.
