An established company is currently looking for an Office Manager to join their thriving team. The Office Manager role involves acting as first point of contact for all HR communications including recruitment and onboarding, alongside all aspects of office management.

  • Salary: Up to £40,000
  • Parking on site

Office Manager responsibilities:

  • Supervising and monitoring the work of the office administrative staff
  • Establishing and maintaining office procedures
  • Organising meetings and managing employee databases
  • Managing the recruitment, onboarding, and employee exit management process
  • Ensuring the company maintains compliance with UK employment law and regulations
  • Managing internal staff relations, development, and training
  • Facilitating communication between senior management and employees
  • Overseeing all aspects of TUPE
  • Supporting individual departments in managing employee schedules
  • Managing and assisting with the resolution of employee conflicts
  • Assisting with disciplinary processes in line with UK employment law
  • Dealing with correspondence, complaints, and queries
  • Handling staff retention and employee benefits
  • Managing petty cash and office/uniform supplies
  • Dealing with diversity, equality and inclusion values and practices
  • Working with the HSEQ team to implement and review company policies
  • Evaluating and managing office staff performance

Office Manager required skills/competencies:

  • Previous experience managing a team and knowledge of employment law desirable
  • Strong IT skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong organisational and excellent problem-solving skills
