Occupational Therapist

Connect2SocialWork are recruiting a Senior Occupational Therapist for an Occupational Therapy Team in Bromley to cover the winter period until March 2025. You will be expected to complete community visits to clients.

The role will involve:

• Occupational Therapy Assessments of clients in their own home for the required equipment and minor adaptations to maximise their independence.
• Supporting with triage and decisions around suitability with OT, reablement, etc.
• Moving and Handling assessments, including providing equipment, identifying reduction of care where suitable.
• Working with the existing D2A OT to cover hospital discharge.
• Assessing for and providing major adaptations.

Requirements:

• Experienced Community Occupational Therapist
• BSc in Occupational Therapy
• HCPC registered
• Understanding of disability issues
• Excellent communication in English, written and verbal
• Driving licence and access to car with business insurance
• Enhanced DBS

What's on offer:

• 36 hours per week (flexible on actual times)
• Rate of pay: 36.00 per hour (mileage can claimed from place of work to visits)
• Flexible working, 2 days office, 3 days working from home
