Senior Project Manager - Construction Consultancy

A well-established Multi-disciplinary Construction Consultancy with a strong reputation in the industry, are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be directly involved in managing projects ranging large cale Public Sector projects from £1 Million to £30 Million, both Pre and Post Contract. You will play an integral role in delivering high-quality projects while fostering strong relationships with clients and mentoring junior staff members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage projects ranging from £1 Million to £30 Million in both Pre and Post Contract stages.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular networking and business development activities.
  • Assist with submissions, proposals, and tender processes to help secure new business opportunities.
  • Manage and mentor junior staff, including graduates, ensuring their professional growth through training and support.
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to ensure project teams are aligned with client expectations and project objectives.
  • Coordinate with other departments, consultants, and contractors to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Monitor project risks and provide proactive solutions to address potential challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

  • MRICS, FRICS, MAPM, or CHPP accreditation.
  • Proven experience working as a Senior Project Manager within the construction sector, managing projects between £1 Million and £30 Million.
  • Strong client development experience, including business development, networking, and assisting with submissions.
  • Experience in managing, mentoring, and training junior staff, including graduates.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
  • A proactive and solution-driven approach to problem-solving.
