About the Role:

A Local Authority Estates team in South East London is looking for an experienced Estate Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a property transformation programme involving high-priority acquisitions and disposals alongside the management of the existing estate portfolio.
In this role, you will lead on a diverse range of property acquisitions and disposals, including leisure, residential, commercial, land, and other site types. Additionally, you will handle traditional Landlord and Tenant casework, providing expert estate management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading on property acquisitions and disposals for various asset types (leisure, residential, commercial, land, etc.)
  • Managing Landlord and Tenant transactions, including lease renewals, rent reviews, and other property management duties.
  • Supporting the estates team with the day-to-day management of the property portfolio.
  • Contributing to the strategic property transformation programme to optimize the estate.
Requirements:
  • Proven background in Estate Surveying, ideally within a Local Authority or public sector context.
  • Strong knowledge of acquisitions, disposals, and Landlord/Tenant management.
  • Ability to work on a range of property types, including commercial and residential sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
