Your Role

As aSenior Recruitment Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering the very best results for our clients with the exceptional skillset to maintain and build on these relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Actively direct sourcing candidates through various channels, including phone outreach and networking.
  • Screen applications to identify top-quality talent that meets client requirements.
  • Advertise job vacancies across multiple platforms to attract the best candidates.
  • Generate new leads and build a talent pipeline in line with client needs.
  • Develop and manage a talent pool for current and future vacancies.
  • Oversee compliance and payroll processes to ensure a seamless experience for candidates and clients.
  • Engage with clients to understand their recruitment needs and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Provide expert advice to clients on market trends and recruitment strategies.
  • Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Participate in business development activities to expand our client base and service offerings.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on recruitment activities, progress, and performance metrics.

Essential Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, preferably in construction, engineering, or energy sectors.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment processes and employment legislation.
  • Strong ability to manage high-volume vacancies in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and candidates effectively.
  • Demonstrable success in direct sourcing candidates and building talent pipelines.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
  • Experience with compliance and payroll management in the recruitment industry.
  • A proactive, driven, and results-oriented approach to recruitment.
  • Ability to work autonomously while also thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Relevant qualifications, such as REC membership or similar, would be advantageous.
