Job Description:

Are you a passionate and skilled Art/Design Technology (DT) Teacher with a proven track record of working in Secondary Schools? If so, Academics has an exciting opportunity for you! We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Art/DT Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Bromley area starting in September 2024.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator who is committed to engaging students with creative and practical lessons in Design Technology. You will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of talented teachers and school support staff who are ready to assist you as you settle into your new role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Design Technology lessons to secondary school students.
• Inspire and support students in developing their creativity and practical skills.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively and create a positive learning environment.
• Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a consistent and high-quality curriculum delivery.

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Be eligible to work in the UK.
• Have proven, referenceable experience teaching in secondary schools.
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of the Design Technology curriculum.
• Possess strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Be flexible, enthusiastic, and able to quickly adapt to new environments.
• A valid Enhanced DBS
