Day-to-day of the role:

• Deliver dynamic and inspiring lessons in food technology to secondary or post-16 students on a supply basis.
• Adapt to different school environments and uphold each school’s academic standards and teaching methodologies.
• Assess student understanding and provide feedback to support their learning journey in food technology.
• Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with permanent teaching staff to ensure a seamless transition and continuity in students’ learning experiences.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is required.
• Experience in teaching Food Technology, with a focus on culinary skills, nutrition, and food safety, is highly beneficial.
• Flexibility and adaptability to integrate into various educational settings.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning atmosphere.
