Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH requirements.
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to foster academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and behavioural management techniques.
• Participate in school meetings and training sessions to continually enhance professional skills and knowledge.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Science at KS3 level.
• Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH needs.
• Proven ability to manage a classroom and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
