Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH requirements.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to cater to the diverse needs and interests of students.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to foster academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement effective teaching strategies and behavioural management techniques.
- Participate in school meetings and training sessions to continually enhance professional skills and knowledge.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Science at KS3 level.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students with SEMH needs.
- Proven ability to manage a classroom and implement effective behaviour management strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
