We are seeking a highly motivated Science Teacher for maternity cover starting in September 2025. Day-to-day of the role:- Teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to KS4, adapting lessons to cater to a range of ability levels.
- Engage and inspire students to foster their curiosity and interest in science.
- Assess and record students’ progress, preparing them to achieve their highest potential.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum that meets the needs of all students.
- Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the school’s community spirit.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Science.
- Experience teaching Science in a secondary school environment; experience in special education is advantageous but not required.
- Strong understanding of the science curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students.
