Day to day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in English Literature and Language to secondary or post-16 students on a supply basis.
- Adapt to different school environments while maintaining each school’s academic standards and teaching methodologies.
- Assess student understanding and provide feedback to support their learning journey in English.
- Implement effective classroom management techniques to ensure a conducive learning environment.
- Collaborate with permanent teaching staff to ensure continuity in students’ learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
- Experience in teaching English Literature and Language is highly beneficial.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work within various educational settings.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning atmosphere.
