Position Overview:

  • Role: HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Bromley, Greater London
  • Daily Rate: £100 - £120 per day (PAYE through our payroll team)
  • Hours: Full-time - 8:15 am to 3:45 pm
  • Transport Links: Close to train and bus routes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Year 2 and Year 6 with SATs preparation
  • Provide cover across various classes, ensuring continuity and engaging learning experiences
  • Collaborate with teachers to design and deliver stimulating educational activities
  • Deliver targeted small group and individual support to help raise attainment levels
  • Prioritise the safety and well-being of all pupils during lessons and break times

What We're Looking For:

  • Relevant experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, with a proven ability to adapt across different year groups
  • Excellent classroom management and the ability to work independently
  • Experience with SATs preparation is advantageous
  • A strong dedication to supporting young learners in reaching their full potential
  • An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one)
