As an Assistant Service Manager, you will support the Service Manager in overseeing two locations and managing a team of 13 staff members. The role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in social care, with the potential for the role to evolve into a Service Manager position as the business expands.

Reports To: Service Manager / Registered Manager

working shifts with the people we support and working from our office London (BR2) over a 50/50 split or depending on business need, as our organization grow the role will involve more office time and less time working shifts.

Purpose of Position:

The Assistant Service Manager will support the Service Manager / Registered Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care for the people we support. The role emphasizes creating a caring environment, complying with regulatory requirements, and implementing effective policies and practices.

Person Specification - Essential Criteria:

Minimum of six months to one year of experience in a Assistant Management role within the last five years.
Relevant care management qualification or willingness to obtain the qualification within six months.
Strong leadership abilities and a self-motivated, organized, and flexible mindset.
Ability to handle pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
Excellent communication skills and a commitment to high standards of care and continuous training.
