We are looking for an Extra Care Scheme Assistant to join our dedicated team in Swanley. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our tenants by ensuring they receive the highest quality housing management service.THE ROLEAs an Extra Care Scheme Assistant, you will support the Scheme Manager in delivering a high-quality housing management service for our tenants.
  • Assist with all aspects of housing management for tenants and the scheme
  • Develop and maintain a varied activities programme to promote tenant engagement
  • Provide a warm welcome and settling-in service for new tenants
  • Carry out health and safety and fire checks to ensure compliance
  • Work with our resident involvement team to support tenant aspirations
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and contribute to key performance targets
  • Report safeguarding concerns and maintain confidentiality at all times
THE CANDIDATEThe ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within supported or extra care housing.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with tenants and colleagues
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office and other ICT systems confidently
  • Experience of managing workloads and working under pressure
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach to problem-solving

THE CONTRACT
  • 25 hours per week: Tuesday to Friday 1pm to 6pm, and Saturdays 8am to 1pm
  • 6 Month Fixed-Term Contract
  • £17,220 pro rata (£25,487 FTE) per year, plus benefits
