Location: SEN School (Ages 4-19) Specialisms: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) & Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) Contract: Full-time, Long-term via Agency
Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school environment tailored for students aged 4-19 with ASD and PMLD who have Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Role Responsibilities:

Support students with varying levels of needs, including personal care where required.

Assist in delivering tailored educational and therapeutic programs.

Work closely with teaching staff, therapists, and other support staff to promote student engagement and well-being.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
Ideal Candidate:
-
Previous experience working with individuals with ASD, PMLD, or other complex needs.

Understanding of EHCPs and strategies to support children with diverse requirements.

Strong communication skills, patience, and empathy.

Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.

A proactive and adaptable approach to learning support.
