The London Borough of Bromley, in collaboration with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, is excited to recruit a full-time Senior Social Worker/Approved Mental Health Professional (AMHP) for our Community Mental Health teams located in Orpington and Beckenham.

This is a unique opportunity to join Bromley's Adult Social Care at a pivotal moment in our Service Transformation programme. We are dedicated to enhancing the lives of Bromley residents, supporting them to live safely and independently as emphasized in our new Corporate Strategy 'Making Bromley Even Better'.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide support to both community and in-patient services.
  • Collaborate with service users to improve their independence and quality of life.
  • Fulfill statutory duties including Care Act responsibilities and safeguarding for both adults and children.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support the learning of other staff members.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Dip SW, CQSW, or a degree in Social Work.
  • Qualified AMHP and Practice Educator.
  • Registration with Social Work England.
  • Proven experience in supervision, mentoring, or supporting the learning of others.
