Hybrid: Only2 days in office per week

About Us:Bromley Children's Social Care has recently achieved an Ofsted rating of "outstanding", reflecting our commitment to prioritizing the welfare of children and young people in the Borough. We are seeking highly talented and ambitious registered Senior Practitioners to join our Safeguarding Service.

The Role:As a Senior Practitioner in the Referral and Assessment Team, you will play a vital role in assessing the needs of children and families referred to us, ensuring their welfare and best interests are at the forefront of our interventions. With manageable caseloads and a supportive team environment, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Child and Family assessments to determine the best course of action for children's needs.
  • Manage lower caseloads, allowing for comprehensive social work interventions.
  • Form positive relationships with families and professionals to facilitate positive changes for children and young people.
  • Contribute to our relationship-based practice framework, aligning with our REAL Values and Behaviours.
