Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Scala Developer to build scalable applications using best software engineering practices. You will leverage strong Scala skills, write SQL and PL/SQL queries, and manage software builds and releases. Familiarity with design patterns and reactive event-sourced systems is essential for delivering high-quality solutions across multiple technologies.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong Scala development skills.
  • Experience in AKKA & Play frameworks in Scala.
  • Sound knowledge in writing SQL queries, PL/SQL Stored Procedures.
  • Strong understanding of software build/ release management skills.
  • Familiarity with development patterns.
  • Experience with projects in multiple technologies and functions.
  • Proven experience in building scalable and robust applications.
  • A background in modern OO language with good experience in Scala.
  • Experienced in using design patterns and following best software engineering practices.
  • Experience in reactive event source systems.

Nice-to-Have:

Familiarity with RDF and SPARQL.

Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Apache Hadoop.

Experience in banking/financial domain.
