Location: Bromley, Primary ASD School
Salary: £90 per day (PAYE)
Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Job Description:

Are you passionate about supporting children with Autism? We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a Primary ASD School based in Bromley. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to work with young children in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support to EYFS children with Autism.
  • Assist in the delivery of tailored learning activities that cater to the individual needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment.
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to implement learning plans and strategies.
  • Assist with the general well-being and safety of the students.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or SEN setting.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Autism and early years education.
  • A positive, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children with additional needs.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • A DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
