We are a vibrant and inclusive secondary school in Bromley, seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to support our students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is integral to our mission of providing a supportive and enriching environment for academic and personal growth.

Day to day of the role:
  • Provide tailored one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support classroom teachers in managing student behaviour and maintaining a conducive learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students to help them gain confidence and achieve their academic goals.
  • Collaborate with parents and other staff members to ensure the holistic development of students.
  • Engage in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Legal right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available for this position).
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a secondary school setting.
  • Proven experience working with students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Confidence in managing classroom behaviour and supporting a positive learning environment.
  • Good understanding of the UK academic system and curriculum.
