We’re looking for passionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a leading educational institution’s supportive team in Bromley. This role is ideal for those ready to help students unlock their full potential academically, personally, and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play an essential role working alongside the Learning Support Assistants Coordinator, Learning Inclusion Manager, and teaching staff to support learners with SEN. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting students in accessing and achieving their learning goals
  • Supporting personal development and fostering independent study skills
  • Helping create and monitor individual Educational Health & Care Plans (EHCPs)
  • Encouraging self-advocacy and independence in students
  • Providing personal care, safety, and well-being support as needed
  • Implementing tailored intervention strategies to address learning barriers
  • Ensuring student engagement with college resources and services, including assistive technologies

What You Bring:

  • Experience supporting individuals with SEN
  • Must have an adult barred DBS
  • A caring, compassionate approach toward students with diverse needs
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with students, staff, parents, and agencies
  • Ability to work flexibly as part of a team and independently
  • A proactive attitude to identifying and addressing barriers to learning
