Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic secondary school? A fantastic mainstream secondary school in Bromley is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term position running until the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities:-
Provide tailored support to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) within the classroom.

Assist in delivering engaging lessons by working closely with teachers and support staff.

Support students' social, emotional, and academic development.

Implement and adapt learning strategies to meet individual student needs.

Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents where necessary.

Assist with personal care and mobility needs where required.

Previous experience working with children in an educational or care setting.

Experience supporting students with SEND.

A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting student learning.

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
