Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - Bromley

Daily Pay Rate: £85-£95 per day

About the Role:

You will work 1:1 or in small groups, supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) such as Autism, ADHD, Global Developmental Delay, and physical disabilities. The role involves:

  • Delivering tailored interventions and structured routines to foster engagement and independence.
  • Using specialist communication tools like PECs and Makaton to support students' learning and communication.
  • Assisting with personal care and adapting activities to meet physical or sensory needs.
  • Collaborating with SENCOs, therapists, and families to support individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Implementing positive behavior management strategies to create a calm, inclusive learning environment.
  • Leading sensory and therapeutic activities to support students' holistic development.
