About the Role

We are working with a lovely Primary School that are seeking a dedicated and passionate ARP SEN Teacher to join their specialised provision supporting children with Autism. You will lead a small class of 9 children, supported by 2-3 skilled Teaching Assistants. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' learning and development within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess tailored learning experiences that meet individual student needs.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Collaborate effectively with Teaching Assistants and other staff.
  • Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEPs).
  • Engage with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to support student progress.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with Autism or within an SEN setting.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS and KS1 curriculum.
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to suit a range of learning needs.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
