We are seeking a passionate Design & Technology Teacher to join a large special educational needs school in Bromley. This role is ideal for someone who has a drive to improve education for children with special educational needs, although experience in a SEN setting is not essential. We are committed to helping all pupils reach their full potential and are looking for a candidate who shares this commitment.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Develop and deliver an engaging and innovative Design & Technology curriculum across the school.
  • Work within a well-resourced Design & Technology department to enhance student learning.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to improving educational outcomes for children with special educational needs.
  • Foster an inclusive classroom environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in Design & Technology.
  • Experience in teaching Design & Technology, with a passion for the subject.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities and backgrounds.
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and the belief that all pupils can achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desirable: Experience in a SEN setting, although not essential.
