Student Achievement Tutor

We are seeking a Student Achievement Tutor to join our dedicated Student Achievement Team at the Bromley Campus. This role is pivotal in providing tutorials and enrichment activities across various subjects, aimed at preparing learners for their future careers while supporting their personal development and pastoral care.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging tutorials and enrichment sessions that cater to a broad range of subject areas.
  • Support learners in planning for their futures and provide guidance on personal development.
  • Offer pastoral care and assist students in navigating both personal concerns and educational challenges.
  • Signpost learners to appropriate internal and external support resources as needed.
  • Facilitate group discussions on a variety of topics, including personal concerns, safeguarding issues, and relevant local and national themes.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including parents and carers.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Confidence in engaging and facilitating discussions with young people.
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver educational content and support to students.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to build relationships with students, staff, and external agencies.
  • Experience working with diverse student groups and addressing a wide range of academic and personal development issues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
