- Oversee the finance function and daily operations of the finance team
- Serve as the key Finance point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the financial accounting system and processes
- Oversee month-end accounts preparation, executive report packs, and improve the costing model
- Review management accounts and balance sheets, investigating variances with the Senior Management Team
- Provide monthly performance analysis to support business goals
- Provide financial support to the Board for decision-making and business planning
- Manage the year-end process and take responsibility for balance sheet and reconciliations
- Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA) or qualified by experience (QBE) with relevant background
- Experience in the SME sector
- Experience of managing the complete month end process
- Leadership qualities and confidence to work closely with non-finance colleagues
