Our client, a manufacturing business in Bromsgrove, is seeking a Financial Accountant to manage financial accounting processes, ensure the accuracy of the Group's general ledger, and provide robust financial information. Key responsibilities of the Financial Accountant:

  • Maintain the integrity of the Group's financial information through reconciliation and financial accounting activities.
  • Deliver Group financial information accurately and on time.
  • Lead the preparation of the Group VAT return.
  • Serve as a role model for Assistant Accountants, providing coaching and skills development support.
  • Assist the Senior Accountant with the review of junior team members' work.
  • Contribute to the Financial Control change agenda.
  • Manage the preparation of subsidiary accounts for the Group.
  • Foster effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement in Group accounting processes.
  • Ensure comprehensive process documentation is maintained for all key processes within the team.

Key essentials of the Financial Accountant:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Proven communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
