Management Accountant

The role is a core function within the Finance team where you will be responsible for providing day to day support to the management accounts team to provide up to date records of all financial aspects of the group

As our Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Preparation and presentation of management accounts with supporting commentary and analysis
  • Ownership of Balance Sheet accounts and reconciliations
  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and regulatory returns
  • Preparing financial analysis to support management decision making
  • Collaborative cross-departmental working to inform the accuracy of accounting entries and provide business partnering
  • Supporting ongoing development of internal systems and processes to become best in class
  • Supporting annual audit process
  • Providing reporting as required to support annual budgets and reforecasts
  • Ad hoc analysis and business partnering as required

What we are looking for in our ideal Management Accountant:

  • Level 7 Equivalent accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA), minimum of part qualified or finalist.
  • Strong Analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail
  • Effective organisational and planning skills
  • Able to work to deadlines
  • Strong IT and MS Office skills
  • Delivery focused, with a drive for quality throughout
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
