A specialist and unique firm of accountants based in Bromsgrove that specialise in the entertainment, media and sports industries are seeking an Assistant Accountant.

This is an all-encompassing position, as the Assistant Accountant will gain exposure to the preparation of financial accounts as well as venture into tax and management accounts.

Along with this, the practice provides a fully supported study support package towards professional qualifications. In line with these studies, the firm has demonstrated on countless occasions their desire to fulfil its people's long-term aspirations, offering no boundaries to career progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with accounts preparation for limited companies
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Preparation of management figures
  • Dealing with external auditor queries

Requirements:

  • Finance professionals studying towards either ACCA, ACA / ICAEW or AAT or equivalent, although QBE's with prior experience in an accountancy firm will also be considered
  • IT skills including Excel and any accounting software (Xero, IRIS, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc etc)
  • Proactive attitude, highly organised with strong levels of attention to detail
